As part of National Nurses Week, Wilmington University extended its appreciation to nurses and healthcare workers in Delaware and Maryland.

Thanks to the help of fellow faculty and staff members, we were able to extend gratitude, food and beverages to medical facilities, including:

  • Atlantic General Hospital
  • Beebe Healthcare
  • ChristianaCare Hospital
  • ChristianaCare Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center
  • Saint Francis Hospital
  • TidalHealth – McCready
  • TidalHealth – Nanticoke
  • TidalHealth – Peninsula Regional
  • Union Hospital

Additionally, Dr. Aaron Sebach, WilmU’s Dean of the College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences, thanked WilmU students and the community via video. “The theme for this year’s National Nurses Week is ‘You make a difference,’ and I cannot think of a better theme to underscore nursing’s important role in healthcare… You make a difference, and I could not be more proud to be your Dean.”

We are grateful for all nurses who are on the front lines of healthcare – especially WilmU nurses. Thank you for all you do!
