Leaders in entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, health care, and workforce development shared first-hand insights on business trends and career pathways at Wilmington University’s Fourth Annual Global Business Forum.

“Events like the Global Business Forum create meaningful opportunities for our students to engage directly with leaders who are navigating the realities of today’s global economy,” says Dr. Robin Weinstein, dean of the College of Business and Technology. “Hearing these perspectives firsthand helps connect classroom learning with the challenges and opportunities of the real world. In doing so, these conversations inspire our students to think broadly, lead responsibly, and prepare to become the next generation of innovators and global business leaders.”

The free virtual event was moderated by Dr. Weinstein and was attended by more than 160 students, alumni, faculty and staff, and community members. Panelists included Dr. Angelica Carter, a WilmU alumna and founder of The LIT Company in 2017, a banking equipment provider, and the Justice System to Careers Initiative; Renzo Casapía, CEO of LearnDat, a consulting and training firm specializing in data- and AI-driven leadership and innovation; and Beth Green, strategic and operational leader for human resources at Cooper University Health Care.
