Dr. Dana Olive, assistant chair of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, is helping raise awareness of this important nursing specialty. She is co-chair of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) Psych Mental Health Special Interest Group.

Recently, Dr. Olive presented “Managing Burnout in Mental Health Professionals by Building Resiliency” at the Hot Topics: Trends and Challenges in Behavioral Healthcare conference at Drexel University.

“Dr. Olive has been an exceptional addition to the College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences,” says Dean Dr. Aaron Sebach. “Her passion for supporting students, use of evidence-based strategies to prevent burnout among students and faculty, and expertise as a PMHNP are invaluable in advancing the profession.”
