WilmU’s degree and certificate programs are designed to teach skills relevant to the demands of today’s global marketplace, such as the several F-1 STEM- eligible degree programs we offer. Certain F-1 students who receive science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) degrees, as designated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, may apply for a 24-month extension of their post-completion optional practical training (OPT). - Opportunities
WilmU offers a wide variety of opportunities for international students to get involved in the Wildcat community. The Multicultural Student Association offers support and guidance to our international members, and they actively participate in functions on and off campus. We are conveniently located between Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., which are major cities on or near the East Coast. Our centralized location provides options for students who may need to live in, or travel to, one of these cities. We also partner with Places4Students, a company that specializes in providing off-campus housing solutions, where students can look for a roommate and find area housing options.
