WilmU Worked for Kasey … and It’s Still Working!

Kasey Trill

Kasey Trill, who earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing and master’s degree as a Nurse Educator from WilmU, is a current student in the University’s doctoral program in Higher Education Leadership.

Trill has a passion for nursing instruction. In addition to her eight years on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as a staff nurse, she has held roles as a part-time clinical adjunct professor at a local university nursing program, a full-time instructor in the Health Career Pathways program at local technical college/high school, and a full-time assistant professor of nursing at a local university.

Lifelong learning is important to Trill, and she plans to “act as a leader in healthcare as medicine evolves.”  She lists “advancing the future of healthcare through the use of tech advances” as a career goal, and she is definitely on her way. In Spring 2023, she will defend her doctoral dissertation, which is a research study on the integration of simulation in nursing education.

It’s no surprise that Trill has earned a number of professional honors. She was named Jennersville Regional Hospital’s 2017 Employee of the Year. And in 2021, she was named a Millennial Superstar by VISTA.TODAY, in recognition of being a “young Chester County professional who is breaking down walls, shattering expectations, and doing remarkable work in their profession or community.”

WilmU has worked for Kasey Trill as she has advanced in her stellar career as an RN and nurse educator. We can’t wait to see what she takes on next!
