On July 19, 2022, the Board of Commissioners of the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) approved Wilmington University’s reaffirmation of specialized accreditation of all business and management degree programs offered through its College of Business from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2029.

According to a news release issued by IACBE in August 2022, “The College of Business at Wilmington University has demonstrated compliance of its business programs with the IACBE Accreditation Principles through a rigorous process of self-evaluation and independent peer review. In addition, the College of Business has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.”

“The entire College of Business faculty and staff have worked hard to reach this important milestone,” says Dean Dr. Kathy Kennedy-Ratajack. “Our dedication to quality education and continuous improvement demonstrates a commitment to the success of our business students.”

Adds Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Jim Wilson, “The IACBE re-accreditation reflects academic excellence and the level of care and expertise regularly demonstrated by our College of Business faculty and staff, as well as colleagues throughout the University.”
