Leadership Fellowship: An Investment in Faculty and Community

Dr. Jason James Jr., of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program in the College of Business, has been selected as a fellow in the prestigious Leadership Delaware program.

The program nurtures leaders of tomorrow through interaction with more than 135 accomplished state leaders in government, corporations, public affairs, economics, the judiciary, education, nonprofits and other sectors.

Dr. Jason James Jr.Dr. James was nominated by his mentor, Dr. Rob Rescigno, Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs, for the one-year program. Participants are chosen based on ability, demonstrated leadership, and a keen interest in their community, with a commitment to making a difference.

He is especially interested in organizational behavior, organizational strategy, organizational learning and workplace learning. His fellowship begins in February of 2020.

“I would not have been able to take on this very demanding fellowship without the support of Rob and Wilmington University,” he said. “It’s an investment not only in me but in the state and community that will benefit from the skills and relationships I develop through this fellowship.”
