Delaware, a boundary dispute over a proposed liquefied natural gas terminal in New Jersey that would have extended into the Delaware River.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe only way a state can sue another state is in the United States Supreme Court as an original case,\u201d he says. \u201cI spent two and a half years of my life litigating on behalf of the state of Delaware in the United States Supreme Court.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delaware won, \u201calthough all of the justices on the U.S. Supreme Court from New Jersey dissented,\u201d says Chief Justice Seitz, referring to it as a \u201conce-in-a-lifetime case.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for advice, he encourages \u201cnewer lawyers to take cases pro bono because sometimes those are the cases where you can get into the courtroom the fastest.\u201d And if considering a clerkship, Chief Justice Seitz says, \u201cFrankly, it gives you a leg up, I think, in the hiring process.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ad2f72ca wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote wu-blockquote-simple is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s just another example of the endless support that Wilmington University has received from the Delaware legal community in building this law school.&#8221;&nbsp;<em><em>\u2014 Elijah Westog, WilmU Law student&nbsp;<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked why out-of-state students may want to stay in Delaware, he praised the First State\u2019s legal opportunities, mentoring and accessibility.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou can do almost any area of law and make a successful living out of it in Delaware,\u201d says Chief Justice Seitz, calling it \u201ca very warm place to practice law.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And he received a warm reception at WilmU Law.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe were able to talk with him after the main discussion,\u201d says law student Dalton Lahti. \u201cI found that really inspirational.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s just another example of the endless support that Wilmington University has received from the Delaware legal community in building this law school,\u201d says classmate Elijah Westog. \u201cThe students are constantly impressed and grateful for
