Robert Tietze, an adjunct history instructor in the College of Education and Liberal Arts, is taking a deep dive into the past with his work on a new book on social capital and the development of the U.S. Constitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tietze and a colleague in Europe are examining the role of Calvinist theory and two founding fathers: James Madison, known as the Father of the Constitution who would become the fourth president; and the Rev. John Witherspoona clergyman and educator who founded what is now Princeton University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, one of his poems was published in the Anthology of Delaware Poets and he gave a reading and book signing recently in Dover. Tietze also completed certification in Human Rights Education through the U.S. Institute for Diplomacy &amp; Human Rights, a think tank based in Washington D.C.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wilmington University students benefit from learning from instructors who have real-life experience beyond their academic credentials.
