Wilmington University is the only institution in Delaware with a chapter of Epsilon Pi Tau, the leading international honor society that recognizes academic excellence for technology students. WilmU\u2019s Delta Lambda Chapter, established in 2012, is helping to grow the honor society, performing the ceremony to revive a long dormant chapter of Epsilon Pi Tau at Cheyney University in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Susan L. Gregg, who chairs Digital Media, Graphic Design and Web Design at WilmU\u2019s College of Technology, is director for the honor society\u2019s Region 1, which encompasses the northeastern United States, from Maryland to Maine. \u201cIt was an honor to bring the chapter back to active status,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gregg notes that interest is growing in Epsilon Pi Tau, which was founded in 1929. Most recently, students and faculty at the University of Delaware expressed interest.
