The vast majority of those videos are created by WilmU faculty and students in Blackboard using the Kaltura integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe tools are easy to use and we provide very robust training opportunities,\u201d he says. \u201cOur tools are getting upgrades all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, videos are captioned automatically, with the capability for faculty to edit the captions and add quiz questions. They are branded consistently with WilmU\u2019s signature colors. VoiceThread allows users to post slides and video clips and interact with one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are always looking to improve the academic experience by providing cutting-edge technology,\u201d Lichterman says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WilmU also has advanced in educating others about e-learning, including the importance of multimedia in online design, offering the College of Online and Experiential Learning\u2019s new E-Learning Design and Technology graduate certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe certificate is ideally suited to professionals working in the space,\u201d he says. \u201cHigh-quality multimedia is essential in both education and in business.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wilmington University currently has a library of 62,600-plus online videos, with more in the pipeline.
