Her area of specialization is military-connected youth and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cheeseman taught at WilmU as an adjunct 10 years ago. Her husband is in the military and they have four children. She recently has published two articles on the challenges of military families, an op-ed piece in the News Journal shining a light on food insecurity, and \u201cMilitary Cultural Competence: Implications for Those Working with Military Families\u201dfor the National Council on Family Relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also helped to develop a new interdisciplinary degree with the College of Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKelly is professional, hardworking, and dedicated to her students,\u201d says Dr. Edward Guthrie, dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kelly Cheeseman, program chair of Psychology\/Organizational Dynamics programs in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, is excelling on multiple fronts.
