class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Less than a year after its formation, Wilmington University\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/sciences-engineering\/index.aspx\">College of Sciences and Engineering<\/a> hosted its inaugural Career Fair on Oct. 20, bringing more than 75 students together with employers representing a wide range of STEM-related fields.\u00a0 Held at Varsalona Hall on the Brandywine Campus, the event gave students opportunities to explore careers, learn about internships and make valuable professional connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participating organizations included Agilent, AirJoule, Aternium, the City of Dover\u2019s Public Works division, Delaware INBRE, the Delaware NASA Space Grant Consortium, Romer Labs, Thomas Jefferson University\u2019s Sidney Kimmel Medical College, WilmU\u2019s Health Sciences division, WSFS, and Verdantas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Career Fair was more than six months in the making, with faculty and staff contributing to its success.\u00a0 College of Sciences and Engineering Dean <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/directory\/sciences-and-engineering\/milton-muldrow.aspx\">Dr. Milton Muldrow<\/a><\/strong> delivered opening remarks, followed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/directory\/sciences-and-engineering\/diane-bansbach.aspx\">Dr. Diane Bansbach<\/a><\/strong>, director and chair of the Mathematics program, who expressed her appreciation to everyone involved in organizing the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/careerservices\/index.aspx\">Career Services<\/a> Department also played an important role, with Assistant Director <strong>Kim Plusch<\/strong> providing r\u00e9sum\u00e9 reviews and interview tips to help students prepare for future opportunities.\u00a0 University leadership members attended in support of the college and its efforts to connect classroom learning with professional opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inaugural Career Fair marks another step in the College of Sciences and Engineering\u2019s growth, with more exciting events planned to help students explore their
