Wilmington University\u2019s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/sciences-engineering\/data-science-master.aspx\">Master of Science in Data Science<\/a> is designed for students looking to deepen their expertise, advance their careers or retool for a new career path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re always interested in what\u2019s going on in the region, and we know that there is an industry need for data science,\u201d says <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/directory\/sciences-and-engineering\/john-sparco.aspx\">Dr. John Sparco<\/a><\/strong>, director of Data and Computing Sciences in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/sciences-engineering\/index.aspx\">College of Sciences and Engineering<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interdisciplinary program connects data science with organizational strategy, operational efficiency and innovation, preparing graduates for roles in data science, business intelligence, analytics, healthcare, life sciences, cybersecurity, finance, technology and operations management.
