Caffo<\/strong>, director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/continuinged\/index.aspx\">College of Professional and Continuing Education<\/a>. By recognizing rigorous, workforce-based learning, students reduce the time and money required to complete their degree while building on the skills they use every day to serve their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLaw enforcement professionals bring valuable, college-level knowledge and experience to the classroom,\u201d says <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/directory\/behavioralscience\/jacob-andrews.aspx\">Dr. Jake Andrews<\/a><\/strong>, program chair of the Criminal Justice Program. \u201cAwarding credit for police academy training acknowledges that learning and helps adult learners achieve their educational and career goals more efficiently.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CPL provides students in the workplace with opportunities to earn academic credit for skills they have developed outside the traditional classroom, reflecting WilmU\u2019s commitment to academic quality and student success.
