A special education and AVID pathway teacher at Cape Henlopen High School, Danese was recognized for her student-centered approach, commitment to student success and ability to create meaningful learning experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The district also announced several key administrative appointments. <strong>Alfredo Rodriguez<\/strong>, a current doctoral student, was promoted to principal of Lewes Elementary School. <strong>James &#8220;Jed&#8221; Bell<\/strong>, also pursuing his Ed.D., will serve as assistant principal at Cape Henlopen High School. <strong>Dr. Chelsey Wharton<\/strong>, a graduate of the program, joins Lewes Elementary as assistant principal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leading the district is Superintendent <strong>Dr. Jenny Nauman<\/strong>, who earned both a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/education\/school-leadership-master.aspx\">master&#8217;s degree in School Leadership<\/a> and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from WilmU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;As we look ahead, we are excited to welcome new leaders and thoughtfully align our administrative teams to best support our students, staff and families,&#8221;
