Wilson<\/strong> \u2014 whose professional expertise helped shape the chapter\u2019s practical and research-based insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their contribution is Chapter 29:\u00a0\u201c<strong>Trauma-Informed Family Life Education: Cultivating Resilience Through Strength-Based Teaching and Practice,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0which examines how family life educators can create supportive environments that acknowledge the impact of trauma while empowering individuals and families to build resilience. The chapter outlines strategies rooted in compassion, safety and trust, emphasizing that trauma-informed approaches strengthen families and the communities in which they live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Berke and colleagues from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/behavioralscience\/indexs.aspx\">College of Social and Behavioral Sciences<\/a> have long championed trauma-responsive frameworks in classroom instruction and community outreach.
