Colonial Superintendent <strong>Jeffrey Menzer<\/strong> said this is his district\u2019s first professional development program for employees in those roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2020, WilmU has offered the Supervisory Academy to organizations statewide, including the City of Wilmington\u2019s Public Works Department and municipalities across southern Delaware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Colonial cohort participated in three-hour sessions on leadership topics, including managing multigenerational teams, EQ vs. IQ, and building a culture of trust and accountability. Courses were taught by WilmU instructors. <strong>Dr. Peter Leida<\/strong>, former Colonial deputy superintendent, facilitated the overall program and led several sessions.
