He is passionate about urban education, which he attributes to his experiences growing up in Washington D.C. He sees his new role as a unique opportunity that could bridge the cultural, economic and educational divides that affect children and families in low-performing school areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently earning his Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership at WilmU\u2019s College of Education, Green says he\u2019s looking forward to applying his doctoral coursework to his new position. He believes his studies are applicable to building teams, identifying underlying issues, bringing together stakeholders and forming partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWorking in my cohort has expanded my perspective on leadership,\u201d he says. \u201cI\u2019m working alongside people in the private sector, law enforcement, clergy, and more.
