In 2016, she founded the annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilmu.edu\/humantraffickingsymposium\/index.aspx\">Human Trafficking Symposium<\/a> at Wilmington University and now organizes monthly human trafficking webinars, which are free to social service and law enforcement professionals and other interested individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her role on the AASC executive board, Dr. Bishop will focus on communications strategy for the organization, helping bridge the gap between academia and the community.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Johanna Bishop, director of Behavioral Science programs, has been re-appointed to the Executive Board of the Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology.
