Wilmington University proudly announces that Lloyd A. Ricketts has been elected to the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Governors, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Mr. Ricketts’ appointment underscores Wilmington University’s commitment to fostering community partnerships and driving Delaware’s economic and educational progress. His leadership aligns with the Chamber’s mission to connect people, address challenges, and strengthen the state’s competitiveness.
“Mr. Rickett’s election to the Chamber’s Board of Governors reflects our commitment to playing an active role in shaping Delaware’s future,” says Wilmington University President Dr. LaVerne Harmon. “His expertise in education and belief in community engagement will make a significant impact.”

Mr. Ricketts joins a distinguished group of statewide leaders, including representatives from Comcast, Delmarva Power, Nemours Children’s Health, and Verizon. The board will address challenges and opportunities for businesses and communities across Delaware.
