Fast-Track Your Education With WilmU’s New Business Management Degree

Are you looking for an affordable, flexible, comprehensive business degree to jump-start your career without committing to a full bachelor’s program? In fall 2024, Wilmington University will launch its new associate degree program in Business Management.

“This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in business principles, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in today’s competitive job market,” says Dr. Robin Weinstein, dean of the College of Business

Learn Essential Business Skills

Available 100% online or in person, WilmU’s 60-credit AS in Business Management emphasizes experiential learning and practical career preparation with maximum efficiency. Instructors are industry experts and active practitioners in their fields, who will help you master in-demand business skills — such as management, leadership, customer service, sales and communication. Courses include Principles of Management, Marketing and Intro to Business Analytics.

“The whole program is centered on career readiness,” says Dr. Audrey Blume, program chair. “Our ultimate goal is to tie business theory, or textbook learning, with the real world. And to do that, it’s learning how to apply those theories to the current and the future business environment.”

You can earn an associate degree in Business Management in two years and qualify for a job as a customer service representative, administrative assistant, sales manager, market research analyst, product manager or actuary — with salaries ranging from $41,000 to $95,000.

Part of a Series of Stackable Credentials

Another possibility is to build upon your associate degree and seamlessly continue your education. Using WilmU’s Dual-Credit ADVANTAGE™, you can apply all 60 credits to the BS in Business Management. From there, you can accelerate into a master’s program by incorporating four graduate-level courses into your bachelor’s degree.

“This pathway allows students to progress from an AS to an MBA or MS in Management in less time and at a reduced cost,” Dr. Weinstein says. “By emphasizing practical, real-world applications and critical thinking, our graduates are well prepared to meet the demands of various industries and pursue further educational opportunities.”

At Wilmington University, you can start with an associate degree in Business Management and progress all the way to a doctorate in Business Administration.
