Rob Passarelli, an artist and educator, has joined the College of Technology full-time as the chair of the undergraduate Game Design and Development and the Animation and 3D programs.

“Rob’s extensive knowledge and enthusiasm are sure to invigorate both programs,” says Dr. Anthony J. Carcillo, dean of the College of Technology.

Passarelli began his relationship with WilmU in 2014 as an adjunct, instructing students in digital arts, special effects, gaming and animation using state-of-the-art software.

He graduated from the Savannah College of Arts and Design, where he focused on fine arts and illustration. He earned his master’s in Education (Applied Technology in Education) at WilmU.

His career path is creative and diverse. In addition to teaching, he has worked as an artist and devoted 29 years to professional golf. His work includes paintings and illustrations commissioned by golf clubs in the Philadelphia region.
