Patricia Resnick, a longtime adjunct faculty member, has been named president of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) Board of Directors, a 9,000-member organization that leads the development of certification in healthcare quality.
At Wilmington University, Resnick was instrumental in the development of WilmU’s certificate in Interdisciplinary Care Management, as well as a highly successful internship initiative in Care Management, says Dr. Angela Herman, chair, Health Sciences, in the College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences.
“As we began to plan our new master’s degree in Health Sciences, I knew Patty would be a significant asset for our program there, as well,” Dr. Herman says. “She not only shares her extensive healthcare experience and knowledge with our students, but she is also a valued member of our advisory board helping us plan strategically for both new curriculum and workforce development roles. I am so proud to have her as part of our faculty and I look forward to her ongoing contributions to enhance our Health Sciences programs as she moves forward in this new role.”
In addition to her experience at WilmU, Resnick has served as vice president of operations for the Center for Virtual Health at ChristianaCare. She is the past president of the Delaware local program committee for the Healthcare Leadership Network of the Delaware Valley.
