Kelly Cheeseman, program chair of Psychology/Organizational Dynamics programs in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, is excelling on multiple fronts.
Besides working full time at Wilmington University, she is completing her research in the Doctorate of Social Science in Prevention Science program at WilmU. Her area of specialization is military-connected youth and their families.
Cheeseman taught at WilmU as an adjunct 10 years ago. Her husband is in the military and they have four children. She recently has published two articles on the challenges of military families, an op-ed piece in the News Journal shining a light on food insecurity, and “Military Cultural Competence: Implications for Those Working with Military Families”for the National Council on Family Relations.
She also helped to develop a new interdisciplinary degree with the College of Business.
