A nationally recognized expert in curriculum and assessment has worked with Wilmington University’s Special Education Program Review and Development group, as part of WilmU’s commitment to revising and improving special education programs.

Dr. June Robinson is an associate professor of Education at the Indiana Institute of Technology. She worked with the review and development group on strategies to enhance programs and align WilmU’s coursework and fieldwork with national standards.

“Dr. Robinson shares our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement,” said Dr. John C. Gray, dean of the College of Education. “She brings insights gained over more than 30 years as an educator and a leader in her field.”

She holds an Ed.D. in Special Education/Higher Education from Ball State University and is an Executive Board member of the Small Special Education Program Caucus of the Teacher Education Division of CEC, the Council for Exceptional Children.

Dr. Robinson currently is a Specialty Program Assessment reviewer for CEC and the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the organizations that perform program reviews and award national recognition and accreditation for teacher education programs.
