Emmy® award-winning anchor Tracy Davidson highlights Dr. Harmon’s career at Wilmington University
On Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m., Wilmington University President Dr. LaVerne Harmon will be featured on “NBC10 News Presents: Today’s Inspiring Woman,” hosted by NBC10 anchors Rosemary Connors and Denise Nakano. The 30-minute special, which also airs on Saturday, March 31, at 7 p.m., features stories of local women driving change and inspiring the community.
“NBC10 is excited to have Dr. Harmon tell her story as part of our ‘Today’s Inspiring Woman’ special report to highlight women’s history month,” says Tracy Davidson, NBC10 Anchor, who interviewed Dr. Harmon for the special. “From working her way through college to now presiding over Wilmington University with a focus on service, Dr. Harmon is truly an inspiration for women in our region. She, along with our other featured leaders, will share insight, inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders.”
Dr. Harmon considers this opportunity a privilege. “Tracy is a genuine and caring person, and I was humbled to be included in a special that honors women,” she says. “It was also a joy to talk to Tracy about Wilmington University.”
