Breaking Bread

College of Arts & Sciences faculty and staff hosted the college’s second pre-commencement dinner May 2 honoring graduates in spring commencement.

In addition to good food and fellowship, faculty sought comments on highlights and challenges of the students’ experiences at the university. Comments gleaned from the evening will help enhance and improve programs offered by the college. The college plans to continue this tradition in the next academic year.

Faculty appreciated an open dialog with students, with one student advising new students, “Don’t be afraid to fail, just don’t stop!”
