The Creative Jazz Ensemble


The talented group is inspired by jazz and R&B rhythms reminiscent of the sounds from the 70’s and 80’s and will be a perfect fit for the New Orleans room at the Ball. The Creative Jazz Ensemble has performed for countless audiences in the United States and even traveled to Europe to play their signature jazz with that Bourbon Street feel. It doesn’t have to be Fat Tuesday to enjoy energetic and creative jazz music.

Club Phred

Club Phred is a group of musicians who on average have over thirty years of professional experience. You will enjoy Club Phred in the Rock-n-Roll Room. We all share a love of classic 60’s and 70’s music and have deep roots in the Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey tri-state area. Club Phred formed in 2002 and has performed with the likes of MARK FARNER Formerly of Grand Funk Railroad and opened up for Pete Best the original drummer of “The Beatles”, The Marshall Tucker Band and Disney recording artist Sarah Buxton. Club Phred has won numerous awards from the Delaware media and has helped various charitable organizations raise in excess of $2,500,000 since 2004.

Tim Laushey Trio


Tim Laushey is one of the region’s most versatile and accomplished musicians performing with his thirty piece Big Band sound down to a Dixie group, or intimate dance ensemble. Tonight he presents his trio with the voice of Paula Johns to take you right to a Las Vegas casino without the hassle of a flight. Paula Johns is an accomplished cabaret singer who is often compared with the great Ella as she works the lyrics with a passion that ignites the emotions of her audiences. She will add the vocals to the Tim Laushey Trio for a perfect lounge sound in the Vegas Room.



Emily Foraker

Emily owns a 34-string Morgan Lever Harp and a 47-string Camac Concert Grand Pedal Harp. She was a principal performing member with the Brandywine Harp Orchestra, has performed with The Matson Run Band, The Raymond Lee Band, was a principal harpist with The Delaware Youth Symphony Orchestra and has performed with The Delaware Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of internationally acclaimed Maestro Simeone Tartaglione. Emily is a sophomore at Wilmington University, majoring in Media Design. She is a recipient of the Academic Dean’s List Certificate in recognition of Excellence in Scholarship. She is on Faculty at Wilmington University as a Peer Mentor assisting professors with classroom instruction for first-year students.

A voice with the emotional depth of Billie Holiday and the power of Dinah Washington, her skills are unparalleled. She is well known for her role of “Peaches” of the soul duo Peaches and Herb whose hit songs; “Shake Your Groove Thing” and “Reunited” soared to the top of the charts! With this duo Patrice toured the world for twelve years delivering stellar performances. She has graced the stages of many other well-known artists and has performed for various political dignitaries including the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton.

Together with her superb accompanists, the party is simply unstoppable. With the individual talents and combined experiences of Patrice & The Show, they have performed and recorded with magnificent artists such as, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé, Celine Dion, The Beach Boys, Brian McKnight, Patti Labelle, Billy Paul, Phyllis Hyman and a host of other artists. Brian Roberts & Company

Brian Roberts performs a wide genre of music from R&B; easy listening; blues; jazz; pop and standards. He has been a part of the Philadelphia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and New York music scene since the late 1970s, first performing with the band “East Coast Connection”. He later was an original member of the band, “Group Therapy”, performed in the band, “Whale” and for more than a decade with the “Renaissance Orchestra” in Philadelphia.
Brian has opened for an array of bands including Tower of Power; Kool & the Gang; The Spinners, The Average White Band and Gary U.S. Bonds.

He now performs with a distinguished group of musicians who are some of most talented in the area.
Joining him for this event are: Nick Bucci, guitarist; Al Price, on bass; Frank Strauss, keyboards; and Eric Johnson, drums.
Brian & Company make every genre of music their own, expanding audiences to love music in a way they never have experienced before.
