About the Green and White Scholarship Ball

The Green and White Scholarship Ball is an annual fundraiser that helps Wilmington University students realize their dreams to achieve a degree in higher education. You can help them achieve their dreams by joining us in this effort.

This black tie/masquerade party transforms the University building into an exciting, themed party atmosphere featuring the region’s best restaurants, specialty foods, beverages and music.

All proceeds from this event are added to the Annual Fund, which supports scholarships, financial aid, and other benefits for the students of Wilmington University.

About Wilmington University

Wilmington University is committed to excellence in teaching, relevancy of the curriculum, and individual attention to students. As an institution with admissions policies that provide access for all, the University offers an opportunity for higher education to students of varying ages, interests, and aspirations.

While producing over forty thousand graduates in ninety programs of study ranging from associates degrees to doctoral studies at fourteen locations in Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey, Wilmington University has remained a financially tuition-driven institution. The 20,000 current students represent a varied population from our mid-Atlantic region.

The University has not sought federal funds, grants or relied upon corporate support, but has helped students through internal sources. Students in need have been provided internal financial aid and other benefits, such as books, tuition and fees. Today there are too many students in need to be handled in this fashion. We must turn to other sources to help these students.
