Adjunct Faculty – Wilmington University College of Technology
Jay Rostaing has been an Adjunct Instructor at Wilmington University since the Summer of 2012. He teaches five different classes, including Information Systems Management (ISM110), Web Information Systems (WIS200), Management Information Systems (MIS320), and two security classes (SEC235 and SEC435), both in class and online.
Jay has over 20 years in the Information Technology field and he currently works for the State of Delaware at the Office of Management and Budget where he is a Senior Application Support Specialist (Network Administrator). Prior to being in the IT field, Jay had over 20 years experience as an Auto Mechanic, Service Manager, Parts Manager, and General Manager. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware, and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Technology, Information Assurance, from Wilmington University.
Jay enjoys passing his knowledge and experience on to others, and tries to encourage others to go into the IT field. Besides his degrees, Jay has certifications from Compaq (now HP), IBM, and the DTI (Department of Technology and Information) Network Administrators certification. In his spare time, Jay enjoys golf and older “muscle” cars (1960-1974 cars).
