Adjunct Faculty – Wilmington University College of Technology
Donald Hess joined Wilmington University as an adjunct instructor in 2013, teaching Computer Network Security (CNS) undergraduate courses. He has worked in the IT field for 14 years and has trained military students since 2008.
Donald’s current role is as the 166 Network Warfare Squadron’s Cyber Range Laboratory Manager. He is involed with developing virtual training environments to train/test tactics, techniques, and procedures. Additional duties include conducting security vulnerability assessments and managing the squadron’s training program.
For fun Donald volunteers his free time to assist Adjunct Instructor Eric Arnoth with the University’s Capture the Flag events. His current commercial certifications are ISC2 CISSP, VMware VCP5-DCV, Cisco CCNA-SEC, CompTia Sec+.
