Adjunct Faculty – Wilmington University College of Technology
Bob Montejo joined Wilmington University in 2008 as adjunct professor and has over 30 years of computer industry experience. He currently works as a Sr. Technical Analyst (UNIX)/System Administrator at Comcast Communications. Bob has extensive experience on UNIX Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, Cisco IOS, and Windows 2000 Server. He has worked in the financial, manufacturing, communication, and military environments providing network and system administration. Not surprisingly with Bob’s depth and length of experience, he has many information system certifications. These certifications include system administration on UNIX and Windows Server, as well as on networking, CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate. To round out Bob’s education, he also has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.
As a Wilmington University instructor, Bob brings his knowledge and experience with UNIX systems into his teaching. He gets the students on track with the Introduction to Linux course and follows up with the more rigorous Linux for Systems Administrators.
Bob served in the 270th EIS, Pennsylvania Air National Guard for over 20 years. His military service involved NCOIC, the network centric operations industry consortium. He designed several military telecommunication projects and network infrastructures in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
